New app
We now have a new app! Besides our original app Spread Signs, we now also have Spread Quiz – a fun way to learn sign language.
Both for Android / iOS.
Youtube
Now we have a nice Youtube channel for fun videos from metings and other stuff. All you have to do to find it is to search for Spreadthesign on Youtube.
Actor
We got to have Patrik working with us!
He is an expert in the vehicle area, so he helped us out with the signs for that.
Visit from Belarus
Our partners from Belarus, Vladimir Melekhovets and Iryna Rusakovich, just visited the Swedish studio for recording of videos!
New American partner
Spreadthesign has a new partner – USA!
In the picture we can see the founder Thomas Lydell visiting Natasha Abner at Montclair university in New Jersey, outside of New York.
Natasha is building up her team of great sign language users and we look forward to see the progress!
Working with quiality
We are now working hard on quiality. We believe it will continue throughout 2016 and 2017.
We had to delete A LOT of videos in the Swedish part of the data base because of the bad quality and we are recording them all again now.
But we still feel optomistic!
Cuba
Spread has a new team – we welcome Cuba!
Thomas visited some old friends from the deaf schools and the deaf organisation of Havana, Cuba – ANSOC. Perhaps a future hub for productions in the region of Central and Latin America?
The team have great contacts and they are in great spirit. Their linguists even managed to easily fold the background, using our special video guide. Video
Meeting in Croatia
Spreadthesign meeting in Zagreb, Croatia! We had a great time with a lot of usefull discussions, like always.
Reinforcement
We now got reinforcement! We have two Spanish students who chose to visit us during their education to become sign language interpreters.
Elena Ortiz Rodríguez and Natividad Izquierdo Chincoa will stay with us for two months. We are very happy to have them with us, they are doing a great job!
